A Coloring Book That Celebrates Identity

Every braid, curl, puff, and twist carries a story. From the ancient roots of cornrows and box braids to the proud rise of the Afro, My Hair Story invites children to explore hairstyles filled with history and meaning.
With words in both English and French, this book makes learning joyful and coloring meaningful. It helps children see their beauty, love their crown, and feel proud of where they come from.

Today, I also teach high school students and give lectures at colleges and universities on the theme of hair identity. My work has been exhibited internationally in cities including Miami, Paris, Atlanta, New York, and London.

In 2024, I helped initiate a bill in the French Parliament that officially recognized hair-based discrimination in workplaces and schools—a milestone that continues to guide my activism.

Through my art, books, teaching, and cultural projects, I strive to inspire people of all ages to embrace their roots, celebrate their heritage, and wear their crown with pride.
